Suwanee Town Center becomes home to tranquil day spa
Suwanee, GA – Stressed and in need of relaxation? Perhaps a trip to the spa might be in order. Orange Skye Body and Beauty Bar, located in the Suwanee Town Center, is a new day spa devoted to pampering the body inside and out with an array of services on the menu that will leave you wanting one of everything. And, this new spa makes it a point to cater to the male clientele as well. Owner Jeff Lester has transformed a strip mall location into a relaxing, inviting and home like oasis retreat. “Most spas make it uncomfortable for men to enjoy services. And I have also heard a lot of women who don’t necessarily feel at home in a high-end upscale spa. What I wanted to create was a place where men and women could come and enjoy the lifestyle treatments without all the fluff and typical attitude of day spas.” says Lester. With this in mind, the entire spa has been transformed into a environment comfortable to men and women alike and boasts six service rooms, a relaxation room and offers the perfect venue for private parties.
What you will find when you go to Orange Skye is complete customization and customer service for the guests. The spa offers up to ten different types of massage: Swedish, sports, deep tissue, prenatal, aromatherapy, hot stone, reflexology and couples massage. Prices vary on length and type. For example a Swedish massage runs $45 for 30-minutes or $110 for 90 minutes. Facials are also customized to each patron, with their menu containing fresh fruit, anti-aging and aromatherapy facials to name a few. Most facials include deep-cleansing and enzyme masks, extractions and gentle massage. A mini facial costs $45, while an Orange Skye Signature facial costs $80 and includes an entire upper-body massage and various products. All makeup applied and sold at the spa is made of minerals, is talc-free and contains an SPF of 20. These all pure mineral colors, can be blended into lipstick, eye shadow, bronzers and nail polish, according to Lester. Other services include MOON Tans, an all-natural spray tan process, an infrared sauna for detoxification along with a special footbath called the Aqua Detox foot spa, a machine that deep cleans toxins from "the 4,000 pores on the feet," according to the spa's menu of services. Lester offers “Ultimate Spa Packages” specially designed for brides, men as well as couples and make a great gift for employees or spouses.
